Ei, I am in Brisbane at the moment and returning to new castle weds. At this point I will be coming along, just need to confirm there is no probs with boat on my return that require attention.
I would be happy to share some things I have learnt in okapa. Perhaps how to shape a arrow head from hardwood. I made a needle for nahl binding for someone the other day and they were surprised using the technique. I could also do knots, lashings, splicing stuff if you like.
Won’t camping though.
Regards
Garth
Hi Garth!
That would be so great to see you on Sunday 🙂
Wow that would be amazing I’d love to learn how to make a hardwood arrowhead and needles. I broke three the other day trying to make moccasins. Let me know if any material I can prep.
Best,
Ei

will have to cancel for tomorrow. I have just returned from Brisbane (Friday) to discover some very interesting developments re crowd fundig on Fri and have to get a detailed brief to a donor. Will explain offline. Will plan for Sep, and we can do the arrow heads etc, gives me a chance to find broken bits of glass and hopefully some stones so the technique can be done with: knives, glass and stone. Will also grab some photos of turn shoes
Hi Garth, no worries at all, all the best for the crowd funding.
