Come to this full day workshop and learn the basics of home tanning using all natural ingredients and everyday materials and tools . Leather tanning is one of the most rewarding and useful self sufficiency skills that can be learned. Using fish skin, a readily accessible skin, participants will learn how to process their own leather for craft or utility. Participants will fillet, skin and tan their own fish skin while the remaining fish will be used to prepare lunch.
