Weeds weeds weeds everywhere! But don’t hate them… harvest them!
Come to this Sunday afternoon class on edible and useful weeds with bushcraft and permaculture guide, Ei Yang of ReNourish ReWild.
Foraging weeds and wild food; there is no more sustainable way to eat. This workshop will get you on your way to confidently identifying and using wild plants that grow in the Greater Sydney region with tools and techniques that you can use both here and further afield.
For food, medicine, fibre etc. the plant world can offer a cornucopia of uses when you look beyond labels such as “weed”.
Come for some hands-on learning of commonly available wild edibles from the Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre site, growing food organically for 20 years.
